artzdescrap challenge

As I was searching for scrappy thing, i saw this website artzdescrap and found out that they are having a challenge, altering a photo in a layout. I want to give it a shot since i still have a lot of pictures to scrap.

I used acetone to distress the black background to make it brownish-sephia affect. Then i painted my green dress with pink acrylic paint then pink glitters on it. I also put a paper flower on my hair as an accent.

I was happy with the result since it was my first time to alter a picture.

National Election Day

It's National Election Day... time to vote...for a new beginning. This will be the first election with automated machine voting, unfortunately, there were a lot of disadvantages... Super long queing,the climate is super hot, and the PCOS machine is having a mechanical problem.
We started at 8am and finished at 12 nn...after 4 hours of waiting, finally i cast my vote...and i'm happy for my vote:) it's worth the wait, met new buddies,kept on chatting, lauging just to ease the boredom. Hopefully my bet will win on this election.

Happy Mother's day!

To all the mother out there especially to my mom...I thanked God that i'm so lucky enough to have such the best mom in the world... mom who always help me no matter what, who guided me through the path of my life, who understands me when I'm down, who gave advices and words of wisdom whenever needed. Truly the Best among the rest.I love you soooo much Mommy Flor!!!

At last, i made another layout for this year 2010. It was a long overdue since it was pic taken last feb , my 29th bday. Looking forward for many more layouts to come.

Holiday

Well, GMA again moved the Labor Day from May 1 to May 3. She had to do that because she sooo bias with all the government employees...since, it falls on Saturday and government has no work during saturday. :( I thought i would experienced not having a work on a saturday toxic day, but unfortunately it didn't happened :(

It's getting hot...as in super hot here in Philippines inspite of raining session during the evening. Hope it will rain again.

Last saturday we had our Rehab team night swimming outing. We went at Casanjo Garden Resort in Greenpark Cainta. We stayed there from 10pm till 4 am then after that we had our breakfast at something fishy eastwood. We had a super fun activities....bonding with my colleagues.
